A message from MyBnk CEO Guy Rigden

As MyBnk celebrates its 15th year, I have taken the decision to step down as CEO.

Lily Lapenna MBE created MyBnk in 2007. She applied the principles of micro-finance to financial education and put young people at the heart. The first MyBnk-in-a Box opened in the London borough of Tower Hamlets and, by the time I joined in early 2013, MyBnk was delivering expert-led education to 150 schools and youth organisations a year.

As the second CEO from 2016, I shifted focus towards young adults who cannot afford money mistakes as they transition to independence. We expanded beyond London and gathered and leveraged evidence to promote systemic change. This year, MyBnk will reach more than 35,000 young people across five hubs, from Scotland to the South Coast.

Vision 2026 sees MyBnk as the most influential specialist financial education charity for young people in the UK. We have never been in a stronger position and want to embrace fresh perspective to learn and develop. We are seeking an incredible candidate to become the third CEO to lead this outstanding organisation.
